Beckey Beckey to Charlotte

Char:  Thanks for the additional laughs.  Am presently at Onalaska, TX on Lake Livingston.  It is evidently a new RV Park on the banks of the lake.  It is a hilly area, at least as far as Texas is concerned, and whoever the contractor was, had probably never been in an RV, because out of possibly 100 sites, 4 are level.  I’m in a beautifully cemented pull through site that is probably on a 15 degree slant.  My front tires, after putting Lynx blocks under the front levelers, are off the pavement.  In fact, have scooted a couple of Lynx blocks under the tires, as would hate to have the levelers fail.  I left the Thousand Trails Preserve at Whitney, TX where it was starting to cool off, but here on the lake it is in the mid-70’s, although they are predicting 60 degrees tomorrow.  I’ve been having trouble deciding whether to pull my comforter out from under the bed, or taking the blanket off the bed.  Expecting cooler weather from now on, so by the time I get to the preserve in Columbus, TX perhaps it will be consistenly cooler.  Am here at Onalaska because the Texas Ramblin’ Roses are having their November get together here.  They have 30 gals registered for the weekend.  We’re all going into town this evening for dinner and tomorrow will have the usual potluck.  Wilma Bryant is putting on maintenance classes for two mornings.  Give my love to all the gals
